The JustType keyboard operates in part through the use of intelligent, automated calibration algorithms. These algorithms rely on what is called a “language model”: a sense of which words you are likely to use. As you use JustType, it learns your particular writing style over time, improving the accuracy of its predictions and disambiguation. JustType also relies on calibration algorithms regarding your typing patterns, how you hold your phone when you type and how you hit the virtual keys on the keyboard. As you use JustType, it learns your particular writing style over time, improving the accuracy of your individual hitting pattern. This functionality requires the gathering and storing on your device of aggregate statistical data. These data could include lists and counts of words used, common misspellings, error rates, typing speeds and hitting patterns. We actively avoid storing information typed into sensitive fields such as password fields. JustType will never gather any personal data, for it’s calibration algorithms.
No data is transmitted to Gordian from the JustType keyboard. E.g. no personally identifying information, or text that you type, is transmitted to Gordian.
Since no data will be transmitted to Gordian from JustType we will never share any data with any third party.
